Mandy is a former ICBC employee with extensive experience as a Driver Examiner and a Driver Examiner Unit Supervisor at various ICBC office locations. Before her tenure at ICBC, she worked as a Manager in the Customer Service industry. Mandy upholds high moral values and work ethics, bringing an incredible amount of teaching experience based on ICBC criteria from her previous roles. Fully knowledgeable of ICBC rules and regulations, she understands each student's driving needs and tailors her instruction accordingly. Drawing from her experience, she creates individualized instruction packages that enhance learning, recognizing that every individual's skill set is different. Her core goal is to develop safe drivers equipped with the right driving skills for the road. Aware of the stress associated with obtaining a driver’s license, she strives to coach her students effectively to ensure they succeed in how to pass the driving test. Mandy utilizes a student-centered teaching approach that distinguishes her from other driving schools. By placing students at the center of their learning, she caters to their unique needs. Through timely feedback during her ICBC driving lessons, she empowers them to make smart road decisions with confidence.

Erudite Driving School is a licensed driver training school operating under the regulations of the BC Motor Vehicle Act. Our Lesson Structure

Our driving lesson follows a structured, goal-oriented format, designed to maximize your learning and build confidence behind the wheel:

· Session Introduction & Review: We begin each lesson by reviewing the skills covered in your previous session and addressing any questions or concerns you may have before starting.

· Skill-Building & Logical Instruction: Throughout the drive, you will receive clear, detailed instructions paired with the logical reasoning behind each technique. We believe that understanding why a rule or maneuver is necessary helps you become a safer, more intuitive driver.

· Constructive Debrief: At the conclusion of the lesson, we conduct a comprehensive debrief. Your instructor will provide honest, accurate feedback delivered in an encouraging and supportive manner.

· Written Feedback & Practice Plan: To support your progress between lessons, you will receive written performance feedback alongside a personalized homework plan outlining specific skills to practice.

Road Test Package - $200

We offer a Road Test Package designed to help you feel confident, prepared, and relaxed on the day of your ICBC driving exam. The package includes the use of our driving school vehicle for your road test, a 45-minute pre-test driving lesson, and 15 minutes of assistance with ICBC check-in before your exam.

During the 45-minute lesson, we review the key ICBC road test marking criteria and focus on the areas that examiners commonly assess. More importantly, we help you prepare mentally and emotionally for the test, because being a good driver is only part of the challenge—knowing how to manage nervousness, pressure, and test anxiety can make a significant difference in your performance.

We will help you understand what to expect during the exam, how to stay focused when you feel nervous, and how to avoid letting stress or anxiety affect your driving decisions. You’ll learn practical techniques to stay calm, maintain concentration, manage test-day pressure, and recover confidently if you make a minor mistake.

Our goal is not simply to prepare you to drive the test route—it is to help you walk into your ICBC road test feeling mentally prepared, confident, calm, and in control. We want you to approach the exam with the right mindset, trust your training, and demonstrate your driving skills without unnecessary stress or anxiety.

Driving Assessment & Full Debrief / Mock test - $130

Don't waste money booking another test before you're ready. Our driving assessment identifies the skills you need to work on and gives you an honest recommendation about your road-test readiness. In a 60-minute session, we assess your driving skills, identify the areas that need improvement, and provide a detailed debrief. We also review the ICBC road-test marking criteria, so you understand exactly what examiners look for.
