Driving School Policies

Regular Lessons

A regular driving lesson is 60 minutes long and includes a minimum of 55 minutes dedicated to practice time. The driving lesson fees for a 60-minute session are $100, which is due at the start of each lesson. We also have a driving school cancellation policy in place for any changes you might need to make. Additionally, we offer the following regular packages: 5 - 60 minute lessons for $475, 10 - 60 minute lessons for $900, and 20 - 60 minute lessons for $1700. If you're interested, you can also schedule a mock driving test to assess your readiness.

Extended Lessons

An extended driving lesson lasts for 90 minutes and provides at least 85 minutes of practice time. The driving lesson fees for each session are $140, payable at the beginning of each lesson. We also have a driving school cancellation policy that you should review before scheduling. Our extended packages are as follows: 5 – 90-minute lessons for $625, 10 – 90-minute lessons for $1200, and 20 – 90-minute lessons for $2300. Additionally, we offer a mock driving test to help you prepare.

Assessment or Mock test

We also offer a mock driving test as part of our driving lesson fees. This 60-minute assessment is available for $120, and you can check our driving school cancellation policy for more details.

Travel Fee

The following locations have specific driving lesson fees that include a travel fee per lesson: Tsawwassen $20, Langley $20 (200 St onwards), Richmond $30, Vancouver $30 (Night St to 41 St) and $50 (33rd onwards), Aldergrove $40, and Burnaby, Coquitlam, New Westminster $50. For Abbotsford and Maple Ridge, the driving lesson fees are $70. Please note our driving school cancellation policy for any changes to your scheduled lessons. Additionally, if you're preparing for the road, consider scheduling a mock driving test to gauge your readiness.

With the instructor's approval, students may use the school vehicle for their road test, which includes 45 minutes of mock driving test preparation for an additional fee that must be paid in advance. Please note that this fee is part of the driving lesson fees structure. The road test car rental charges are as follows:

- Surrey and Langley locations: $200

- Richmond: $230

- Aldergrove: $240

- Burnaby, Coquitlam, New Westminster: $250

- Abbotsford and Maple Ridge: $270

Additionally, be aware of our driving school cancellation policy, as it may impact your fees and scheduling.

We do not offer refunds for previously completed lessons. If you have already paid in full for a lesson package and wish to cancel your training, please send an email to eruditedriving@gmail.com. Since you will no longer be eligible for the package price, we will charge you for the completed lessons at the normal rate ($100 for one 60 min lesson and $130 for one 90 min lesson) and refund the difference, consistent with our driving school cancellation policy.

Refunds are available for eligible cancellations; however, a $5 administrative fee will be deducted from all refunds to cover transaction and processing costs related to driving lesson fees.

A minimum of 24-hour notice is required for lesson cancellations or rescheduling, which also applies to any mock driving test bookings.
